Amberliegh + Adam {Banff Wedding Photographer & Banff Wedding Photography}

I feel it’s important for me to share this post even though these photos were taken over a year ago. Even though the couple eloped, this was technically my first wedding & took place in January 2011.

Our friends, Adam & Amberliegh decided to elope & asked Lisa & I to be witnesses & for me to photograph their special day. The long day began as the bride & groom got ready in their room at the Hotel Arts in Calgary, Alberta. We then drove to the Conservatory at the Calgary Zoo where the ceremony was held. The Conservatory was a beautiful location to be married & the environment & temperature was hot & humid…a nice change from an Alberta Winter. After the reception, we all drove down to The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta where more photos were taken. This is the most amazing hotel I have ever stayed at. Built in 1888, this enormous, luxurious hotel instantly reminded me of the hotel in the classic movie, The Shining. Here are a few photos I took on this special day.
