Krystal & Trevor’s wedding took place on a hot summer day on July 6, 2013 (which also happened to be Lisa’s birthday). We started off with the getting ready photos at the bride’s sister’s house. It was fun to get to know the bridal party, which consisted of Krystal’s maid of honor & three sisters (you might recognize one of the sisters from one of last fall’s family sessions)! The ceremony & reception was held within a gigantic tent at the Ukraina Park in Mundare. After the ceremony, we headed across the street to the Grotto where we did the formals. I’ve always wanted to shoot at the Grotto but never had the chance to so I was excited to finally shoot here! The Grotto is one of the most beautiful locations I’ve ever shot at & was the perfect spot to capture Krystal & Trevor on their big day.
This wedding party was so much fun! Once we finished with the formals, the bride & groom wanted to head out to the notorious Corner Pub to stop for some drinks. The only time I’ve been to this pub is during the annual Mundare beach party when it’s filled with sand & packed with people dressed in beach wear so it was a drastic change taking photos of this formally-dressed group in an empty pub! Nevertheless, it was a great experience to share with this group & thanks for the shots – both photographic & alcoholic!
Lisa & I had such a great time with this entertaining group (to say the least). Thanks to Krystal & Trevor Lebid for including us in your special day & thank you especially for making my face hurt from smiling so much & laughing so hard! We hope these photos will create a lifetime of memories!
