Meet Joel, Mallory, Harper, Maverick, & Baby #3!!

Lisa & I were thrilled when the Buchanan family told us they have alternative plans for their family session back in September. They pulled out some hand-made blocks with numbers on them & told us they wanted to use them to announce that they have a third bundle of joy on the way. How cool! We especially felt pretty privileged to be in on the secret before too many others knew about it. Perks of the job!

We first met Mallory & the kids at Ada’s first birthday party this summer in Fort Saskatchewan. Harper’s outfit and bright blond hair made her look like she was straight from California & Maverick’s big blue eyes were an easy target for anyone with a camera. They were undeniably two of the cutest kids ever with names I LOVE so naturally, I got a few portraits of them that day.

Admittedly, since then Lisa & I had been hoping to get to work with this family, so we were obviously super excited when Mallory got in touch with me for their first family photo session. We met at Turner Park where the light was fickle, but we worked around it quite easily. We hope you guys love your photos.
