Kaitlyn + Kyle {Two Hills Wedding Photographer}

Kaitlyn & Kyle are hands-down one of the most affectionate & kindest couples I’ve met. Kyle is currently studying in Florida to become an Optometrist while Kaitlyn is working as a nurse in Alberta. These two lovebirds decided to tie the knot during Kyle’s summer off before he has to head back across the Country to return to school in September. Their wedding took place on July 19 & everything about their special day was perfect!

The farm theme worked great as the Kassian’s are pretty big farmers outside Two Hills, Alberta. The blue & orange color theme beautifully complimented the bright yellow canola field which surrounded the ceremony. The ceremony was held on Kyle’s parent’s farm which overlooked a creek – one of the most beautiful outdoor ceremony locations I’ve photographed. It was also one of the most emotional wedding ceremonies I’ve attended. I loved the special touches that personalized their special day; especially the custom wooden Kassian sign, their personal wedding vows, and the bride’s brother who serenaded the crowd during the signing of their marriage license. I could tell a lot of time & effort went into the decorations – from the various wooden signage, to the custom made wooden planks/wind-break at the ceremony entrance, to the gorgeous custom-built barn backdrop at the reception. Everything about Kaitlyn & Kyle’s wedding was perfect!

I have a lot of respect for these two, especially considering they will be spending a good portion of time apart for the next few years as Kyle finishes off school in Florida – I can’t image how hard that would be!
