Being the photographer in the family does not mean there are hundreds of photos constantly being snapped of us; instead it’s quite the opposite. Don’t get me wrong, between Lisa and I, we are constantly taking literally hundreds of photos of Lyric or our fur-baby, Oscar (let’s be honest…it’s hard not to). But especially after the recent arrival of baby Lyric, we haven’t yet had a chance to take many photos of the four of us together, never mind photos with the rest of the family. And frankly, I’m tired of my parents hinting to me that we need an updated family photo! So we decided to schedule a last-minute photo session with my side of the family (including the pooches) as part of an early Christmas gift to the rest of the family.
Thanks to my camera-capable dad for managing to capture a few good ones of our new little family and a special thanks goes out to my remote shutter release and tripod for allowing us to get a few updated group family shots. Here’s some of our favorites from the session back in October…maybe we’ll make this a yearly tradition!
