I’ve known Brittiny since I was a strapping young lad where I have fond memories of us going camping together with mutual family friends. It wasn’t until we shot their engagement photos last spring where we got to meet Jason. Brittiny is one of the most kind, sincere people I’ve ever met and the same could be said about Jason…the perfect match for one another.
This was our first time shooting a wedding in St. Paul, Alberta, but we couldn’t have asked for a better location. The ceremony was held outdoors at the St. Paul soccer fields where I remember playing in soccer tournaments many, many years ago. The reception was held in a massive tent at the same location and the majority of family and friends camped at the Iron Horse Trail Campground which is conveniently located next to the soccer fields. This was a plus for us as we got to bring out our trailer to camp there too!
Jason’s mom has a gorgeous mini stage coach on her farm where we spent some time snapping photos of the wedding party and bride and groom. Brittiny and Jason’s son, Jaxen, is seriously one of the cutest kids ever and it was an especially special day as Jax accompanied the newlyweds at the head table. Lisa and I joked about hooking our Lyric up with Jax someday…they’d make the cutest couple!
Thanks so much for including Lisa and I in your special day! We had so much fun working with you guys these past couple years and we hope you enjoy your photos as much as we do!
