Krista + Dayton {Vegreville Maternity Photographer}

Allo again!

You remember Dayton & Krista – from some of our own family photos that we’ve shared, and their wedding that we shot a couple years ago. Now they’re expecting their first babe any day now! I am SO EXCITED to be an auntie again!

For as long as I’ve known Dayton, he continues to be one of the most strong-willed and decisive people I’ve met.  There is no grey area with him because he knows exactly what he wants and what he believes in. Sometimes we drive each other crazy because he is very matter-of-fact while I prefer to let my emotions play a part in my decision making, but that’s what makes us such good friends. We can argue like siblings one minute and laugh together about something the next. Having known him for over a decade, I can also tell you that he is one of the most kind, empathetic and hardworking people I know who doesn’t hesitate for a second when someone he loves is in need of a helping hand. I’ve been a part of his family long enough to have helped him celebrate of many of his milestones, but this is the one I am most excited for. I remember pausing during their session and thinking to myself how happy he looks.

That’s why I’m so happy to share their maternity session with you! Krista is kind, calm and has the patience of a saint. Together, they’re a care-free couple who love each other lots and are going to make the best parents. I’m so happy to get to witness you guys add someone to your ever-growing list of things that you’re passionate about.  And you’ll see! Your nervous and shaky hands become wide open and steady when you hold your baby in your arms for the first time. You guys will be naturals.
