2019 Grads {Vegreville Grad Photographer} {Vegreville Family Photographer}

I realize my last blog post was from a winter session so thought I would warm up my blog space with some warm spring photos. This year, I booked just enough grad sessions to keep me busy while still making time for family at home. I got to work with so many great families again this grad season and had fun going through the photos.

Many of you who follow me know that I’ve been taking photos for the Vegreville Speedway for the past 7 years which gives me the opportunity to photograph something other than people. As much as I love portrait photography (my favorite subject to photograph), it’s a nice change of pace (and adrenaline rush) photographing the races. This year’s grad sessions included a number of vehicles and allowed me to mix two of my favorite subjects in one session, which was a real treat!

I’ve worked with the Fried’s several times in the past and even used to teach Logan drum lessons way back when so it was crazy to see how everyone has grown up over the years (it also reminded me that I’ve been taking pictures for quite a while now)! The Fried’s session included some pretty cool vehicles including a couple nice pickup trucks, and my personal favorite – Shayla and Logan’s grandpa’s Plymouth Superbird. I’m a huge fan of the Superbird and it was awesome to get to work with a great model and such a cool car! My last graduation shoot was of the Bond family (I know…super cool name!) which included the classic Studebaker. Aidan’s grandpa brought this beauty all the way down from 100 Mile House, BC so I was sure to include it in much of Aidan’s grad photos!

Thanks to the Warrington, Nawrot, Fried, and Bond family for trusting me with your graduation/family photos this year. I understand there is a growing number of photographers in the area, so it’s really special when you choose me to capture your family’s milestones and greatly appreciated!

Spring and grad season has come and gone and we are now looking forward to our summer wedding season!
