For those you that have been with us since the beginning, you know that we’ve changed our “look” more than a handful of times. In the past it’s had more to do with the shape and size of font and Davin not being able to make up his mind than it did our brand. This time, we put our heads together to develop something that represents the two of us and our business, and this is one we know is here to stay!

Here’s how we came up with the design:
Most importantly, we wanted something that was unique to us. We’re pretty different than most photographers and we embrace our individuality (together) so we want that to show.
We’re both pretty simple folk and are lovers of clean and simple designs. We didn’t want something that was too busy or font that was illegible. On the other hand, we agreed that the logo needed something more than just our name.
Our love for anchors goes way back to our high school days when we were both ga-ga for anything with a nautical theme – something we’ve never really got over. A few years after we started dating I tattooed an anchor on the nape of my neck to pay homage to the man that is now my husband, and Davin has a pinup girl/anchor tattooed on his calf.
In essence, Davin G Photography resembles a lot of the same things to us that we do for each other. Security to help pay the bills and save for our future, stability in always being able to count on each other and our clients to ensure each and every session is unique, and the love for the craft! We love our jobs and are so passionate about the process from start to finish and strive to make our time with you a really memorable experience. That’s our brand and we’re sticking to it!
